Partner with Commercial Administration roles, Relationship Managers, Commercial Client Specialist Teams and Sales Leaders to drive operational effectiveness, ensure consistent execution per policy and procedures, mitigate operational risk and improve the client experience across assigned CCB teams.

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job.  Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below.  Specific activities may change from time to time. 

Provide oversight, guidance and decision making and support for operations functions for an assigned specialty commercial teams, specified by Head of CCB Operations in the Commercial Community Bank (CCB), with significant emphasis on operational efficiency and effectiveness, security, risk management, compliance, and client experience.    Escalation point for commercial client experience issues, policy and procedure exceptions, client error resolution and disputes, fraud situations and problem management for assigned locations. Support of operational escalations for, but not limited to, Deposits, Loans, BSA/AML, ACH, Wire, Remote Advisory, etc.  Formulate independent decisions to ensure the best resolution in a timely manner. Understand current and proposed policies and procedures in order to effectively partner with CCB teammates to interpret and drive delivery and execution.  Identify opportunities in adherence, communicate and provide training as necessary.  Help detect operational changes and assist in delivering operational readiness to assigned teams. Oversee and ensure execution of established operations routines and cadences, focusing on mitigating operational risk in business execution. Consult and partner with leadership to manage the execution of identified opportunities in daily operations and the overall execution of operational strategies while mitigating risk and improving client experience.  Accountable for direct operational performance of assigned teams. Serve as initial point of escalation for security and incident response for assigned teams; responsible for effectively communicating and engaging others as necessary. Execute and participate in operational projects and ensure effective implementation with other lines of businesses and key partners such as Operations, BURM, Compliance, Treasury and Deposit Operations, Technology, Financial Crimes, Fraud, etc.

Required Qualifications:

5-7 years of banking experience, or equivalent education and related training or experience Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to successfully interact with influence teammates Associates degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience. Good organization skills, attention to detail and ability to quickly comprehend and teach operational policies and  procedures Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office software products.

Preferred Qualifications:

2-3 years of branch or department operational experience

Working knowledge of commercial banking operational processes
