You will operate CNC press brake machines at our Vulcan Plate team in Tauranga, bending and forming steel parts to precise measurements. It is a hands on job, and you will also help keep the workspace safe, clean and well organised.

This is a permanent, full-time dayshift role. Start time is 6am, finish time is 4:30pm.

What You Will Do

• Set up and operate CNC press brake machines
• Read and follow drawings and job sheets
• Perform bending and pressing of steel parts
• Check measurements and quality of finished work
• Operate a forklift to move materials
• Keep machines clean and report any faults
• Follow all Health & Safety rules and work safely

What You Will Bring

• Experience operating CNC press brake machines, preferably in the steel or metal industry
• Current forklift licence (essential)
• Good mechanical skills and attention to detail
• Able to read measurements and drawings
• Fit and strong, some heavy lifting involved
• Reliable and turn up every day, on time
• A valid work visa or the right to work in New Zealand
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
