About the Department

The Technology & Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.

Overview of the Role

Candidate’s expected to have related skillset, experiences to operate Card and Unsecured Lending Operations. This role is responsible for quality assurance, reporting, staff training, vendor management, process improvement initiatives, system testing, and various ad-hoc operational projects.

Job Responsibilities

Play the role Card Operations Processing Centre to operate Credit Card/ Cash Plus migration and reconciliation activities. In particular, they’re included but not limited as below.
• Pre-screening as per designated task for maker: Perform pre-screening of application forms and the supporting document to ensure all information and documents required to process the application are completed.
• Data Entry: Perform key in customer details on applications form to UOBV system accordingly.
• Verification, Filling and Archiving.
- Applicant employment verification including email verification and Field inspection as UOBV requirement.
- Quality Assurance of telephone verification conducted.
- Sorting, filling, and reconciliation of customer application and supporting documents.
• Training other Professional Services staff when required

Job Requirements

The suitable candidates are expected to have following background, experience, skills:

• University degree (BA) required
• At least having 1 year experiences in Card and Unsecured Lending Operations via Payment/Banking/Fintech organizations (Card/Loan onboarding, maintenance, Visa-Mastercard-Napas card fraud/dispute/chargeback, payment and settlement, regulatory report preparation,…)
• Vendor performance management and process new and renewal contract
• Good at communication, negotiation, problem-solving, project management
