About the Role

As our Business Coordinator, you'll provide dedicated business support to the People Leadership Team, helping to ensure the People and Culture function operates efficiently, collaboratively and effectively.

Acting as the central coordination point for the team, you'll manage a wide range of administrative and organisational activities, from coordinating leadership meetings and events to maintaining key systems, supporting internal communications and ensuring important documentation is accurate and accessible. You'll play a key role in keeping priorities on track, enabling the People Leadership Team to focus on delivering an outstanding people experience across the organisation.

This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll build strong relationships across the People and Culture function, support new initiatives, improve processes and help communicate key updates to colleagues across Waythrough. If you're highly organised, proactive and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Duties

  • Provide high-quality business and administrative support to the People Leadership Team and wider People and Culture function.
  • Coordinate leadership meetings, team events and People and Culture activities, ensuring they are well planned and delivered efficiently.
  • Act as a central point of contact, supporting communication and collaboration across the People and Culture function.
  • Maintain and update SharePoint, Microsoft Teams and the intranet, ensuring information is accurate, accessible and up to date.
  • Coordinate travel, accommodation and diary logistics for the People Leadership Team where required.
  • Raise and process invoices and support financial administration across the function.
  • Support the onboarding and induction of new colleagues, helping them feel welcomed and connected.
  • Produce and maintain workforce communications, guidance documents and other key resources.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes and improve ways of working.
  • Support engagement initiatives and help communicate People and Culture projects and updates across the organisation.
  • Build strong working relationships with colleagues across Waythrough while demonstrating our values of Kindness, Courage and Respect.

About You

You'll be an organised and proactive administrator who enjoys supporting senior leaders and enabling teams to perform at their best. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities with ease and take pride in delivering a high standard of work.

You'll bring:

  • Experience providing business or executive support to senior managers or leadership teams.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple activities and meet competing deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, with the confidence to work with stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, along with collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
  • The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Experience producing reports, maintaining accurate records and managing business administration processes.
  • A proactive approach to improving processes and finding practical solutions.
  • A collaborative, positive attitude and a commitment to delivering an excellent service.
