Position Overview:

As part of the talented Warehouse team, you will drive a forklift to move part carts and motors to various area within the plant following safety guidelines and designated procedures.

Essential Functions:

• Drive forklift to move part carts and motors to various areas of both plants.
• Ability to perform job functions safely and effectively in a fast-paced, noisy environment while wearing all required PPE (including eye, hearing, hand, knee, foot, etc.)
• Safely deliver motors from warehouse to Rigging via forklift
• Picks motors on request and prepares them for delivery.
• Communicate with Rigging team on daily needs for trailers/boats/motors.
• Self-starter, team player with a good safety awareness

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous forklift operation required.
• Three months experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Detailed and organized person with ability to read and understand production schedule.
• Computer skills preferred.
• Ability to perform job functions safely and effectively in a fast-paced, noisy environment while wearing all required PPE (including eye, hearing, hand, knee, foot, etc.).
• Possess a positive work attitude, willingness to learn all departmental job functions, and adhere to safety and quality requirements.

Working Conditions:   

Regularly required to work in outdoor conditions, lifting parts and pieces up to 70 lbs., traveling up and down stairs on a constant basis, sitting, squatting, and bending in various awkward positions for certain lengths of time - including working overhead, traveling in and out of work areas, walking and being on your feet for a majority of the workday. Exposed to noise, dust, and fumes daily.  Pushing and pulling material carts.  Physical exertion is required.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $17.50-$20.00, hourly. The actual pay offered will vary depending multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business need, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position may be eligible for discretionary bonus or short-term incentive program.

 At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
