About this AV Client Service Manager role at Nasdaq

Nasdaq · Hybrid · Mexico City - Mariano Escobedo
We are seeking an experienced AV Client Service Manager to join our dynamic AV team. This role is the primary point of contact between our clients and the internal AV team, responsible for managing the AV event calendar, handling all client AV calls, and translating client needs into clear, technically accurate direction for our production staff. This is not an entry-level event coordination role — the ideal candidate comes from a hands-on or client-facing background within the professional AV/broadcast/live events industry and is fluent in AV terminology (audio, video, lighting, signal flow, staging, control rooms, broadcast integration, etc.). Candidates must have excellent spoken and written English and the confidence to communicate directly with high-profile corporate clients and internal technical teams.

AV Event Manager

The Role

We’re looking for an AV Event Manager to join our team, reporting to the AV Leadership team. In this role, you’ll help deliver exceptional audiovisual experiences by connecting client needs with flawless event execution in one of the world’s most dynamic corporate event environments.

You’ll fit right in if you’re highly organized, client-focused, and comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You enjoy solving problems, managing multiple priorities, and ensuring every event runs smoothly from planning through execution.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage the AV event calendar, coordinating and scheduling client requests from intake through event delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client AV consultations, gathering technical requirements and event objectives.
  • Translate client needs into detailed technical briefs and work orders for production teams using industry-standard AV terminology.
  • Partner with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to align technical and logistical requirements across events.
  • Identify risks, resolve issues proactively, and help continuously improve event delivery through post-event reviews and feedback.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in professional audiovisual production, broadcast operations, live events, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of AV systems and terminology, including audio, video, lighting, signal flow, control rooms, streaming, and production environments.
  • Proven ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both clients and production teams.
  • Excellent organizational, documentation, and client relationship management skills.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and project management tools such as Monday.com or similar platforms.
  • Flexibility to support varying schedules based on event and client needs.

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting corporate broadcast studios, executive briefing centers, or high-profile corporate events.
  • Familiarity with AV scheduling, booking, or content management platforms.
  • Previous hands-on experience as an AV technician, operator, or production specialist.

Location

This position will be located in Mexico Office and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
