Summary of Job Duties:
Join the UAMS College of Nursing and help advance research through meaningful partnerships and community engagement. This position works closely with the Project Director to coordinate all project activities, collaborating with agencies, stakeholders, the advisory committee, work groups, study staff, and partners to achieve the grant’s goals and objectives.The ideal candidate is an organized, relationship-focused professional who enjoys bringing people together and facilitating activities across diverse groups. Responsibilities include assisting with budget and contract development and monitoring, preparing and distributing project reports, and participating in outreach activities that promote the grant’s mission. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree, Business, administration, public policy, science or related field PLUS two (2 ) years of applicable experience
Knowledge, Skills & Activities:
- Computer program experience: Microsoft Office
- Computer program proficiency level: Advanced

What You’ll Be Doing (Responsibilities)
- Keep the project moving forward: Collaborate with the Project Director and project team to coordinate activities, schedule meetings, and support project management.
- Maintain organized project records: Keep accurate meeting minutes, budget records, and other project documentation.
- Coordinate team travel: Facilitate travel arrangements for project team members to support grant activities.
- Keep the team connected: Maintain effective communication with the Project Director and the entire project team.
- Support grant reporting and dissemination: Manage grant reports in collaboration with the Project Director and assist with sharing project information and outcomes.
- Build strong community partnerships: Serve as the primary contact for community partners and support ongoing collaboration.
- Expand outreach and education: Arrange, manage, facilitate, and participate in outreach activities with community partners and clinical sites. Explore additional educational opportunities to share the grant’s educational objectives.
- Bring stakeholders together: Partner with the grant team to plan and help execute the annual stakeholders meeting.
