JOB DESCRIPTION:

ROLE DESCRIPTION

  • Part of India’s Leadership Team, leads the strategic direction of marketing efforts within the local market, ensuring alignment with area and global objectives while driving business growth.
  • Responsible for all aspects of Marketing activities including HCP, Consumer, Digital, CRM and Customer Experience.
  • Responsible for leading the marketing team, optimizing execution, and ensuring marketing strategies contribute to long-term success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute long-term marketing strategies that align with global and area objectives.
  • Provide leadership to India’s marketing team, ensuring clear goals, performance tracking, and continuous development.
  • Collaborate with affiliate leadership team and stakeholders in Commercial, Sales, Medical etc., to align marketing execution with business priorities.
  • Oversee marketing budget allocation, ensuring investments drive business growth and optimize ROI.
  • Marketing execution with flair and innovation: ensure that FreeStyle Libre brand achieves high share of voice and a strong link between marketing initiatives and sales performance. Track and analyze marketing performance, leveraging insights to refine strategies and improve execution.
  • Lead development of marketing insights/slides for annual planning, business reviews and LBE.
  • Represent the affiliate in area and global marketing discussions, advocating for local market needs and ensuring strategy alignment.
  • Ensure marketing compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop strong relationships with key external partners, including agencies, media, and vendors, to drive marketing effectiveness.
  • Lead innovation efforts, piloting new marketing approaches and evaluating their potential for scale.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement across the marketing team.

QUALIFICATIONs & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, Science or other relevant fields. Advanced Degree such as MBA a plus.
  • 10 to 15 years’ relevant experience in Marketing or Brand Management, preferably in the pharmaceutical, medical device or consumer health industry.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing integrated marketing plans, preferably with omni-channel marketing experience.
  • More than 5 years of managerial experience with strong leadership capability. Ability to motivate and coach a team of marketing professionals.
  • Proven ability to influence senior-level stakeholders and skillfully communication with insights and data.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence, lead, negotiate, and work effectively at all levels. Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Familiar with MS Office Suite of Products (PowerBI, MS Teams, Excel, PPT) and CRM platforms (Veeva Vault, Salesforce etc.).
