About the Position

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Associate Director, Materials Planning to lead the end-to-end materials planning strategy and commercialization agenda across the organization. This senior leadership role will be responsible for ensuring material availability, optimizing inventory investment and enabling the successful execution of innovation, renovation, productivity and material-change initiatives. The Director will establish the strategic direction, governance and operating model required to deliver business growth while protecting service, cost and operational continuity.

* Develop, implement, and oversee material planning strategies to meet production demands and inventory targets.
* Lead and manage the demand planning function, collaborating with sales, marketing, and production teams to forecast material requirements accurately.
* Utilize and optimize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for material planning, inventory control, and supply chain visibility.
* Manage inventory levels across the supply chain, implementing strategies to minimize obsolescence and maximize inventory turns.
* Oversee logistics and planning operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective material flow from suppliers to production.
* Identify and implement process improvements within the material planning and supply chain functions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
* Collaborate closely with production planning to ensure alignment between material availability and manufacturing schedules.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating terms and managing performance to ensure reliable material supply.
* Lead and mentor a team of planning professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
* Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the supply chain management function.

Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
* +10 years of progressive experience in supply chain, material planning, or logistics roles, with leadership experience.
* Proven expertise in Demand Planning, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Inventory Management, and Logistics.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across various functions and levels.
* Proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
