Summary of Job Duties:
The Assistant Professor will focus on building a successful academic career while making meaningful contributions to the discipline, department, and College of Medicine. Primary responsibilities include 57% clinical activity and 3% academic time, aligned with college expectations and personal career goals.
Qualifications:
Applicants must have a doctoral degree in clinical, school, or counseling psychology from an APA- or CPA-accredited institution.
Completion of an APA- or CPA-accredited internship.
Arkansas psychology licensure.
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality, patient-centered clinical care in alignment with the mission and goals of the College of Medicine.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes for patients, with a focus on addressing the healthcare needs of children in Arkansas.
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with departmental policies and regulatory standards.
Engage in academic activities, including teaching, mentoring, and contributing to the development of educational programs within the College of Medicine.
Participate in scholarly activities, such as research, presentations, or quality improvement initiatives, consistent with personal academic goals and College expectations.
