Company Profile:
In the summer of 2021, Repsol expanded its renewables operations to the U.S. through the acquisition of a large U.S.-based PV solar and battery storage project developer. This transaction was Repsol's first foray into the U.S. renewables market. In 2024, Repsol made another strategic acquisition of ConnectGen from Quantum Capital Group. Repsol Renewables Services North America (RRSNA) is targeting to own and operate 3-4 GW of renewable capacity in North America by 2027.
We are looking for a motivated, dynamic, personable, and professional Asset Management Intern for our summer program to join our Asset Management team.

This is a twelve (12) week program starting May 17, 2027 – August 6, 2027, in Downtown Houston.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the Asset Management team in monitoring and optimizing the performance of renewable energy assets across the portfolio.
• Assist in analyzing operational, financial, and commercial performance of solar, battery energy storage, and other renewable energy projects.
• Support the development and maintenance of asset performance dashboards, reporting tools, and portfolio management resources.
• Assist in analyzing asset performance metrics, operational trends, and key business drivers to support value creation initiatives.
• Review operational and financial data to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and improvement strategies affecting asset performance.
• Support the evaluation of asset optimization opportunities, contract performance, and long-term value enhancement initiatives.
• Assist with financial and operational analysis used to support investment decisions, portfolio management, and asset optimization efforts.
• Prepare asset management reports, dashboards, presentations, and other analytical materials for management and leadership teams.
• Support the tracking and analysis of asset performance metrics, operating budgets, project milestones, and business performance indicators.
• Assist with data collection, validation, and reporting across multiple business functions, including Development, Finance, Engineering, Operations, Commercial, and Legal teams.
• Create and maintain asset management documentation, presentation materials, reporting templates, and process improvement tools.
• Participate in special projects focused on operational excellence, asset optimization, portfolio growth, and long-term value creation.
• Analyze large datasets using Excel and other business intelligence tools to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Prepare and present project updates, asset performance findings, and business recommendations to management and leadership teams.
• Coordinate and effectively communicate with cross-functional teams to support informed asset management and operational decision-making.
Requirements:
• Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the requirement of sponsorship.
• Enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Energy Commerce, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in renewable energy, asset management, portfolio management, operations, finance, or energy markets.
• Basic understanding of renewable energy technologies, battery energy storage systems (BESS), operational performance metrics, or financial analysis concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret operational, financial, and market data.
• Experience with business analysis, asset management, performance reporting, or financial modeling is preferred.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, asset management platforms, data analytics tools, or similar analytical and reporting tools is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced business environment.
