Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Analyze customer technical and application requirements
  • Develop customized technical solutions aligned with the company product portfolio
  • Define technical offers and layouts in collaboration with Sales, Quotation team, and all relevant stakeholders (e.g. Technology, Engineering, etc.)
  • Ensure project effectiveness in terms of cost, timing, and technical content
  • Perform preliminary feasibility studies aimed at standardization and modularization already during the bidding phase, proposing improvements and cost reduction activities (value engineering)
  • Define system layouts and configurations
  • Support Sales team in the preparation of technical offers and documentation
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation (schematics, application descriptions, specifications)
  • Manage technical requests (RFQ) and customer clarifications
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of technical solutions and standards
  • Participate in customer meetings for offer definition
  • Participate in internal kick-off meetings and manage Post-RAC activities within the engineering team

Your Profile / Qualifications

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Automation or equivalent)
  • 2–5 years of experience in a similar role (Application Engineering, Proposal Engineering, Technical Sales)
  • Good ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Familiarity with CAD tools (e.g. AutoCAD, Creo3D modelling or equivalent)
  • Basic knowledge of plant layouts or industrial machinery
  • Good knowledge of English

The position falls under the Italian National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for the Metalworking Industry, with job classification and level to be defined based on the candidate’s experience and skills. 

The indicative gross annual salary range for this role is between €30,000 and €45,000, depending on experience, technical expertise, level of autonomy, and market alignment. 

The overall compensation package may also include variable components and additional company benefits, which will be discussed during the selection process.
