About The Role

As an Animal Facilities Tech, you will perform general facility cleaning and support for the Husbandry department within the vivarium.

What You'll Do Here

• Perform general facility cleaning (e.g., mopping, trash removal, floor scrubber, etc.) and laundry.
• Stocking PPE storage and usage areas.
• Assist with transferring vivarium equipment.
• Perform minor facility repairs.
• Operation of the cage/rack washer.Comply with the appropriate safety and study requirements as described in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and governmental regulations.
• Comply with appropriate safety and health practices including personal protective equipment and barrier requirements, as applicable.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• No prior work experience is required.

• Ability to effectively comprehend and communicate (verbal and written) in a professional manner.

• Ability to work with a diverse group of people in a fast-paced environment.

• Positive attitude toward work and co-workers.
