To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a  Analyst, Linux Systems located in Guadalajara North Campus.

 

What a typical day looks like:

  • Monitor, maintain, and optimize Linux server infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.
  • Research, analyze, and resolve complex system issues while providing technical support to internal users and business teams.
  • Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Linux operating systems, applications, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Implement system enhancements, patches, and security updates following corporate standards and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with global IT teams on infrastructure projects, system migrations, and technology implementations.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, system configurations, and operational guidelines.
  • Participate in troubleshooting activities, root cause analysis, and incident resolution to ensure business continuity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field.
  • Basic to intermediate experience administering Linux operating systems in a corporate environment.
  • Knowledge of Linux distributions such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), CentOS, Ubuntu, or Oracle Linux.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewalls.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Shell Scripting.
  • Knowledge of system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate effectively within a global team environment.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Linux Administrator, Linux Analyst, Systems Administrator, or similar role.
  • Experience managing Linux servers in enterprise environments.
  • Knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V, or cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is a plus.
  • Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar technologies.
  • Familiarity with security best practices, patch management, and access control.
  • Intermediate to Advanced English level.
  • Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills.
