Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Logistics Analyst located in Orangeburg SC

 



Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Logistics Analyst, this role will enhance product workflow by researching and developing logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory. Create and review logistics procedures to maximize client satisfaction and minimize cost.

 

 

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:


 

  • Manage end-to-end import and export operations across all modes (air, ocean, road, etc)
  • Coordinate end-to-end international and domestic shipments, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with trade requirements.
  • Obtain freight quotations, compare costs, and identify the most efficient logistics solutions.
  • Manage relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and logistics providers worldwide.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external customers, providing shipment updates, resolving logistics issues, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain direct communication with customers regarding shipment status, transit times, documentation requirements, and logistics solutions.
  • Track shipments from origin to destination, ensuring visibility and proactive issue resolution.
  • Analyze logistics performance, transportation spending, and KPIs to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Implement process improvements and cost-reduction initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and operational performance.
  • Coordinate Dangerous Goods (DG) shipments, ensuring compliance with international regulations and carrier requirements.

 

 

Here is some of what you’ll need:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 6+ years of experience in materials or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in international logistics, import/export operations, or trade compliance preferred.
  • A background in manufacturing is desired.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft excel skills, data analysis, reporting, and KPI tracking.
