About the Role

 

We are looking for a Analyst - Private Equity Clients (Associate Level 1 Corporate Finance) to join our existing team.

 

Accounts Payable Specialists are the backbone of a company's financial operations. They ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments, maintaining strong vendor relationships and safeguarding the company's financial health. The Candidate will work across multiple processes and workstreams, coordinating delivery teams, managing dependencies and risks, and providing clear, honest reporting to senior stakeholders. The role requires someone who is comfortable working at pace, making pragmatic decisions, and applying the right level of governance rather than process for process’ sake.


 

Key duties and responsibilities:

Accounts Payable Roles & Responsibilities

  • Process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records
  • Maintain meticulous records of outstanding payables
  • Ensure the accuracy of an organization’s financial documents for payment, auditing and tax purposes. Protect businesses against unintentional overpayment
  • Practice effective monitoring to ensure payments are made to vendors in a timely manner

Accounts Payable Day-to-Day Duties

  • Process and review invoices to be completed for payment
  • Maintain copies of vouchers, invoices or correspondence necessary for files
  • Prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description etc.
  • Input daily bookkeeping and record keeping. Verify invoices against purchase orders and ensure goods or services were received before issuing payment to vendors

T&E's Reconciliation

  • Download the T&E's System forms & receipts from the concur website & Reconcile
  • Highlight the unreconciled items to client

T&E's Journals

  • Prepare Journal for each department reflecting data for all the expenses incurred
  • Journal is sign off to client for approvals

 

Experience and skills:

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, without losing sight of the bigger picture.
  • Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership and operate with minimal supervision.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Nice to have:

  • Exposure to Corporate Finance Accounts Payable process
