  • Support qualified Speech and Language Therapists in delivering specialised communication and swallowing rehabilitation to patients in their homes and community clinics.
  • Carry out delegated communication and swallowing (dysphagia) exercises in accordance with therapy plans developed by registered therapists.
  • Travel independently to visit patients in community settings while maintaining regular communication with supervising clinicians.
  • Work collaboratively with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to support effective community rehabilitation.

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Relevant experience supporting Speech and Language Therapists or working in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting.
  • An understanding of communication and swallowing difficulties, including dysphagia.
  • The ability to follow delegated therapy programmes and work within the scope of your role.
