Provides moderately advanced administrative support to an assigned department or specialized activity. Processes transcripts for TAMUCT students. Assist at front counter in assisting current students with their class schedule to include adding, dropping, changing and withdrawing from courses. Create and type correspondence letters, verification letters, and enrollment letters. Scan and query student files. Assist students in person, email, phone and fax.
A Presidential Proclamation issued on September 19, 2025, imposes a $100,000 fee on all new H‑1B petitions filed after September 21, 2025, and Texas A&M University–Central Texas will not pay this fee. Additionally, a moratorium issued by Governor Abbott on January 27, 2026, restricts the filing of new H‑1B petitions unless approved by the Texas Workforce Commission. Responsibilities:
Process various dynamic forms for the Records & Admissions Department.
Proof permanent records and publications from original documents. Proof and maintain current and past educational files. Verify all transcript data, image, index and query at the end of every semester.
Scans/Indexes documents in BDM, runs the .bat files and reconciles forms in the multi-category in the Dynamic Forms dashboard that have not been routed to our department.
Print and audit outgoing transcripts. Process TAMUCT and UCT/ATU transcript requests received from current and former students.
Assist students via e-mail, phone and the front counter with registration issues and general inquiries. This includes assisting students in the Student Advisor chat room, as well as checking in/out students in Who’s Next.
Process verification of enrollment requests received from students. Also process third party verification enrollment requests.
Process agreements received from Financial Aid by entering credit hours into Banner and updating Access database.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.

Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Three years of related experience.
Wage: $15 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday; 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Late nights until 6 pm week before classes start and the first week of class each semester for Spring and Fall. Assist with commencement on Saturday during Fall term (December).
Supervision of Others: This position does not supervise employees.
Work Location: This is not a remote position. The selected candidate will be required to work on campus.
