The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) at the University of New Hampshire, Durham seeks a qualified adjunct instructor to teach one course in the Fall 2026 semester. This is a temporary, part-time teaching position. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering undergraduate or graduate-level instruction in an area of CSD, supporting student learning, and upholding the academic standards of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver course content, including lectures, assignments, and assessments, aligned with departmental and accreditation standards.

  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and maintain regular office hours or virtual availability.

  • Submit grades and required reports in accordance with university deadlines and procedures.

  • Use the university’s learning management system (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard) to support course delivery.

  • Participate in required training, orientation, or departmental meetings as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology, or a related field.

  • Evidence of academic or clinical expertise in the assigned subject area.

  • Eligibility for state licensure or ASHA certification (CCC-SLP or CCC-A), if applicable to the course content.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ph.D., Ed.D., or clinical doctorate in CSD or a closely related field.

  • Prior college-level teaching experience.

  • Familiarity with ASHA standards and CAA-accredited program requirements.

  • Experience with hybrid or online teaching environments.

Compensation Pay Range:

$6,700.00/per course

Salary is based on the university’s adjunct pay scale and is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
