Great brands don't just follow culture. They help shape it.

At Edelman, we're looking for an Account Supervisor to join our Brand team in New York and help create the kind of work that gets people talking, thinking, and taking action.

This is an exciting opportunity for a PR professional who knows how to turn cultural insights into compelling stories, build meaningful media relationships, and bring integrated brand campaigns to life. You'll work at the intersection of earned media, creativity, and culture, partnering with talented teams to develop ideas that resonate with audiences and deliver real impact.

If you're energized by bold thinking, great storytelling, and the opportunity to shape how brands show up in the world, we'd love to meet you.

Who You Are

You're a curious, culturally connected communications professional who sees opportunities where others see challenges. You understand what makes a story newsworthy, know how to build trusted client relationships, and bring both strategic thinking and hands-on execution to the table.

You thrive in collaborative environments, enjoy connecting the dots between culture, media, and consumer behavior, and take pride in delivering work that makes a difference. You're ready to take greater ownership of client relationships, help guide integrated campaigns, and support the growth of the people around you.

  • Be a trusted client partner. Serve as a key day-to-day contact, building strong relationships, providing thoughtful counsel, and identifying opportunities to elevate the work.
  • Make earned media work harder. Lead media outreach, develop compelling narratives, identify newsworthy angles, and support spokesperson preparation to maximize campaign impact.
  • Collaborate across disciplines. Partner with creative, influencer, social, paid media, and other integrated agency teams to deliver connected, audience-first campaigns.
  • Own the details that drive success. Manage project timelines, deliverables, budgets, and priorities while ensuring high-quality execution across multiple workstreams.
  • Turn results into insights. Help establish campaign KPIs, evaluate performance, and translate results into meaningful recommendations for clients.
  • Help others grow. Guide and mentor junior team members, encourage fresh perspectives, and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive team environment.

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in public relations, communications, advertising, media, or related fields.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing and executing earned media strategies and integrated communications campaigns, ideally within consumer or lifestyle brands.
  • Strong media relations skills, with the ability to identify compelling story angles, develop effective pitches, and build meaningful media relationships.
  • A passion for culture, consumer trends, and storytelling, with the ability to translate insights into creative communications opportunities.
  • Experience managing day-to-day client relationships and delivering thoughtful, strategic communications counsel.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to bring ideas and recommendations to life.
  • Strong project management skills, including experience coordinating multiple priorities, timelines, budgets, and cross-functional teams.
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset and an interest in mentoring others while contributing to an inclusive team culture.
