We are looking for an experienced Senior Operations & Technology Leader to lead and scale complex technology and IT service operations within a large, fast-paced organisation. The role combines operational leadership, technology management, strategic transformation, P&L ownership, team leadership, automation, AI adoption, and data-driven performance management.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading large technology organisations through periods of growth and transformation while maintaining high standards of service quality, operational efficiency, and customer impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and scale large, complex technology and IT service operations across on-site and offshore teams.
• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with organisational growth and transformation objectives.
• Lead technology organisations of 250+ employees, including managers, technical teams, and support functions.
• Manage 24x7 IT service delivery, ensuring reliability, service quality, operational continuity, and customer satisfaction.
• Own and manage P&L, budgets, resource allocation, operational costs, and financial performance.
• Drive organisational transformation, process optimisation, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality, productivity, speed to impact, and cost efficiency using operational and business data.
• Establish and monitor meaningful operational metrics and dashboards to measure team performance, service quality, delivery effectiveness, and business value.
• Leverage automation, AI, and emerging technologies to improve scalability, productivity, service delivery, and operational outcomes.
• Analyse operational and business data to identify trends, risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure technology teams follow strong ITSM, SDLC, engineering, and product management practices.
• Partner with technology, engineering, product, business, and executive stakeholders on strategic initiatives.
• Clearly communicate the work delivered by technology teams, the value generated, key challenges, and improvement opportunities using measurable data.
• Build high-performing leadership teams and establish strong accountability, governance, and performance-management practices.
• Drive continuous improvement across processes, technology platforms, service delivery, and organisational capabilities.
• Represent technology and operations at executive-level forums and contribute to strategic business decisions.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 8+ years of experience managing large-scale technology, IT services, operations, or technology consulting organisations.
• Proven experience leading large, complex organisations through growth, transformation, and operational change.
• Experience managing on-site and offshore teams delivering IT services in a 24x7 environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading organisations of 250+ employees.
• Strong experience with P&L ownership, budgeting, resource planning, and commercial management.
• Strong understanding of ITSM, SDLC, technology operations, and product management best practices.
• Proven experience implementing automation and AI to improve scale, productivity, quality, and operational outcomes.
• Strong data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse metrics, identify trends, and translate insights into business improvements.
• Ability to define and communicate meaningful operational and business metrics that demonstrate team performance and value.
• Software engineering, technology consulting, or technical leadership background is preferred.
• Strong executive-level communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
