Job Description & Summary

At PwC, our people in business application consulting specialise in consulting services for a variety of business applications, helping clients optimise operational efficiency. These individuals analyse client needs, implement software solutions, and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilisation of business applications, enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives.

In SAP technology at PwC, you will specialise in utilising and managing SAP software and solutions within an organisation. You will be responsible for tasks such as installation, configuration, administration, development, and support of SAP products and technologies.

Minimum years experience required

8–10 years of overall experience in SAP technical delivery, with strong hands‑on expertise in SAP ABAP development across SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA landscapes.

3–5 years of experience leading development teams or workstreams as a Manager (or equivalent), with responsibility for planning, estimation, delivery governance, code quality, and stakeholder management.

Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end SAP implementations, enhancements, and production support in complex enterprise environments, ideally within global delivery or shared services models.

Additional application instructions

Strong technical expertise in SAP ABAP, including object‑oriented ABAP, performance optimization, debugging, and development best practices such as clean code, reusable components, and secure development.

Experience designing and developing SAP integrations and enhancements commonly required in Digital Core programs, including IDocs, RFCs, OData/REST services, BAdIs, user exits, and custom reports, forms, and interfaces.

Ability to work closely with SAP functional consultants and architects to translate business requirements into technical designs, estimates, and high‑quality deliverables.

Manager‑level ownership of delivery quality, including defining development standards, performing design and code reviews, overseeing testing activities, managing defects, and ensuring stable transports and deployments across DEV, QA, and PRD environments.

Strong client‑facing and leadership skills to manage teams, communicate technical topics clearly, provide status and risk updates, and ensure successful delivery within a global Acceleration Center model.
