Works Inspector (Landscape)

Parsons is looking for an experienced Works Inspector (Landscape) to join our team! In this role, you will oversee and inspect daily site operations related to landscape construction, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Conduct thorough inspections of landscape construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and report on work progress, identifying potential delays or issues and recommending corrective actions to ensure the project remains on track.
• Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure they meet the required quality standards and specifications.
• Ensure proper documentation of all inspections, including daily reports, safety reports, and quality control checks.
• Coordinate with the construction teams to ensure smooth execution of landscape works, such as planting, irrigation systems, hardscaping, and outdoor amenities.
• Manage site safety, ensuring that all workers adhere to safety protocols and minimize risks associated with landscape works.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services required for landscape works.
• Assist with testing and commissioning, ensuring that landscape components meet the necessary quality and functionality standards before handover.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Diploma in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• 8 years of experience in landscape construction inspection for large-scale infrastructure projects such as parks, urban spaces, and recreational facilities.
• Strong understanding of landscape construction standards, codes, and regulations.
• Proficient in MS Office and inspection reporting software.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to review and check construction work for accuracy and compliance.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple inspection activities simultaneously.

• Knowledge of AutoCAD and other landscape design software.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects at the same time.
