Über diese Warehouse Manager Stelle bei Galderma
Whether it's the unique breadth of our integrated offering that covers Injectable Aesthetics, Dermatological Skincare and Therapeutic Dermatology products; or our commitment to recognizing and rewarding people for the contribution they make - working here isn't like anywhere else.
At Galderma, we actively give our teams reasons to believe in our ambition to become the leading dermatology company in the world. With us, you have the ultimate opportunity to gain new and challenging work experiences and create an unparalleled, direct impact.
We are looking for a Warehouse Manager to lead and develop warehouse operations at Galderma's manufacturing site in Uppsala.
This is an important leadership role within our Supply Chain organisation, where you will be responsible for ensuring efficient, reliable, and compliant warehouse operations that support manufacturing and site logistics. You will lead a team working across multiple shifts and play a key role in creating an environment where safety, quality, performance, and continuous improvement are part of everyday operations.
Working closely with colleagues in Manufacturing, Planning, Quality, Facilities Management, and Global Warehousing, you will help ensure a seamless flow of materials and contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations.
Your mission
As Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the warehouse operation, ensuring the right priorities, resources, and ways of working are in place to support the site's manufacturing activities.
Success in this role is built on leadership. You will coach and develop your team, provide clear direction, and create the conditions for people to perform at their best. You lead by example, foster accountability, and build a culture where quality, safety, and continuous improvement are embedded in the way the team operates every day.
A key part of the role is driving operational excellence through robust processes and strong execution. You will continuously improve warehouse procedures, optimise performance, and ensure a high level of audit readiness through well-established ways of working rather than short-term preparations.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop warehouse supervisors and teams, creating a safe, engaged, and high-performing organisation.
- Oversee and coordinate all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient, reliable, and compliant support to manufacturing and logistics activities.
- Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives, LEAN principles, and data-driven decision-making.
- Monitor performance through KPIs, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement sustainable solutions that enhance productivity, quality, and service.
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards, SOPs, safety requirements, and regulatory expectations while maintaining a high level of audit readiness.
- Build strong relationships and collaborate closely with stakeholders across Manufacturing, Planning, Quality, Facilities Management, and Global Warehousing.
- Manage relationships with logistics service providers (LSPs) to ensure consistent service quality and operational performance.
- Lead cross-functional projects, manage operational risks, and act as the local subject matter expert for warehouse operations.
Your profile
You are a confident and approachable leader who enjoys being close to the operation while maintaining a broader strategic perspective. You communicate clearly, build trust through transparency, and create an environment where people feel supported, accountable, and empowered to succeed.
We believe you bring:
· Experience managing warehouse operations, preferably within manufacturing, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or other regulated industries.
· Proven leadership experience, including leading teams and developing people in an operational environment.
· Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics processes, and inventory management.
· Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems, preferably M3.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into practical improvements.
· Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English.
· A hands-on leadership style combined with the ability to prioritise, make decisions, and drive change.
· The ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across functions and organisational levels.
The following are considered advantageous:
- Experience from the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
- Education in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment and supporting external audits.
Location and information
This position is based on-site in Uppsala, Sweden. Due to the nature of the role and the responsibility for the warehouse operation, a regular on-site presence is required.
