The Warehouse & Tooling Support Associate supports daily warehouse operations in a safe, accurate, and organized manner. The employee works with company systems to maintain records and routine reporting and, when assigned, provides basic cutting-tool preset support.
Responsibilities:
The following tasks are representative of the position and are not intended to be all-inclusive:
- Record shipping information, safely package goods, and prepare shipments using approved logistics systems.
- Use forklifts, pallet jacks, hand carts, and other approved equipment to move material and store it in the correct warehouse locations.
- Perform inventory counts, identify discrepancies, and communicate findings to the Team Leader or Customer Service Representative.
- Use Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and company systems for data entry, inventory lists, document maintenance, reporting, and order-status support.
- When assigned, prepare tooling for assembly and package completed assemblies for preset.
- Report shipment, inventory, tooling, safety, and quality discrepancies, including near misses and incidents, and cooperate with related reviews.
- Maintain safety, quality, and good-housekeeping standards throughout the work area.

- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, with the ability to learn ERP, shipping, inventory, and related systems.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, and tooling.
• Ability to follow written instructions, standard procedures, and safety and quality requirements with strong attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication, organization, teamwork, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple routine priorities.
• Ability to work independently within established instructions and ask for assistance when needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, forklift, or related experience preferred.
- Practical experience using Microsoft Office products is required; cutting tool or manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Ability to work while standing or walking for an entire shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted, repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Ability to obtain a CDL and make deliveries, if required.
- Ability to obtain forklift certification.
- Ability to work safely throughout a warehouse or manufacturing facility that may or may not be temperature controlled.
