Description of Work

This position is a part of the Health Information Management department under the Director of Standards Management and provides administrative support to the nursing department on skilled nursing units. Main duties include: reviewing electronic medical records to flag and enter orders, prepare packets for appointments and hospitalizations, answering phone calls, maintaining various unit inventories and assisting Medical Services with on-unit support.

Longleaf Neuro-Medical Treatment Center (LNMTC), located in Wilson, NC, is a state-operated certified Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). With a staff of about 520, LNMTC provides support to approximately 200 residents with complex medical needs and/or co-existing neuro-cognitive disorders.

Minimum Education and Experience
