The VP, Network Verizon Customer Account Team (CAT) is a strategic leader reporting directly to the SVP, Networks Business at Samsung Electronics America (SEA). The VP will spearhead executive-level discussions on technology options, strategies, risks, dependencies and opportunities with our key Verizon stakeholders. The incumbent will develop a strong team, drive change in a complex organization, generate significant impact through strategic and tactical direction, and deliver results. Plays a critical role in achieving strategic, operational and financial goals while establishing and refining a strategy to gain market share.

Role and Responsibilities

• Bachelors in Engineering or Business Management.
• 20+ years in Technology Sales or Account management experience.
• Accustomed to establishing relationships and trust with "C level" clients and contacts; must have the executive gravitas and presence to maintain long-term trusted relationships at this level.
• Experience directly working with leaders at VP+ levels.
• Experience with Verizon in a leadership role either as supplier/customer or within Verizon.
• Proven track record of tangible results in program delivery, sales or technical planning
• Understanding of hardware/software roadmaps, product features, lifecycle, and long-term strategies.
• Familiarity with 5G, edge computing, and next-generation network technologies.
• Experience overseeing complex delivery and implementation programs with internal/external customers.
• Highly adept and capable of building and maintaining trusting partnerships and relationships across the board with business unit leadership as well as external consumer and cross-functional partners.
• Ability to anticipate problems and devise creative solutions spanning sales/technology and operational execution.
• Track record of leader influencing people, processes, and technology choices in a manner that enriches the company’s culture and overall team performance in a complex environment.
• Strategic and analytical thinking, capable of seeing and understanding broad and differing perspectives.
• Proven ability to attract, develop, motivate and retain world-class talent.
• Ability to travel extensively.

Skills and Qualifications

• Masters or relevant experience.

The salary range for this role is expected to be between $297,000 and $367,000.  Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
