VoIP Engineer

NTT DATA is looking for high-achieving team players that are quickly adaptable to new challenges and entrepreneurial ventures. We are currently seeking a VoIP Network Engineer for our client in Orange, CT.

• We want to incorporate the resource, as soon as possible.
• Position is to work onsite at client facilities in Orange, CT
• This is a long-term contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Act as Subject Matter Expert on VoIP communications, based on Cisco Technologies
• Collaborate in VoIP projects. Currently there is an Ongoing project for Call managers consolidation and migration to platform 12.5.
• Be part of L3 support for the Networking team in a Multitiered support team

Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience in IT VoIP with Cisco VoIP Technologies
• CCNA or CCNP (preferable 350-801 CLCOR)
• Onsite presence in Orange, CT office
• Ability to work autonomously and manage client expectations
• Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills
• Outstanding organization, time management, and interpersonal skills
• Proactive documentation of work

Knowledge of:

• VoIP infrastructures based on Cisco Unified Communications design and management
• Switching, routing
• Familiar with ticketing systems like IT Now.
