Xavier University invites applications for a visiting faculty position in the Department of Biology to begin in Fall 2027, to complement its new undergraduate programs in Neuroscience. The successful candidate should bring a passion for teaching undergraduates. This is not a remote position. The position is renewable annually for up to three years, pending continued need. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. 

The individual must either be a Ph.D. candidate or hold a Ph.D. in an area of the biological sciences. Specialization in neuroscience required, with any area of neuroscience welcomed. Responsibilities include: teaching the equivalent of 4 courses per semester which may include courses in neuroscience, majors-level anatomy and/or physiology, professional skills courses for majors and/or other upper division courses of interest. Most of these are existing classes and already have materials prepared that will be shared.
