We are seeking a VP of Product to lead the next stage of our product organization and platform evolution. This leader will help shape the future of how technology and data drive the business while building the systems, talent, and operating models required to scale.
This role combines product strategy, organizational leadership, and operational execution. You will inherit a strong team and have the opportunity to help define how Pareto creates value for our customers over the next decade.

- Building more automated and data-driven underwriting capabilities.
- Turning healthcare and claims data into actionable intelligence for customers and consultants.

- Creating a more unified platform experience across a fragmented ecosystem of partners and solutions.
- Identifying and investing in the next generation of products that improve customer outcomes and company performance.
The VP of Product will play a central role in helping define and execute against these opportunities.
Organization:
The VP of Product will inherit and lead a growing product organization that currently includes leadership and product management capabilities across:
- Underwriting Products
- Customer Experience Products
- Data & Analytics Products
The team includes experienced product leaders and individual contributors. This role is focused on scaling and strengthening the organization rather than building it from scratch.
This leader will evaluate organizational structure, develop future leaders, clarify ownership and responsibilities between areas and other departments, and ensure the organization is positioned to support Pareto's long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and Scale the Product Organization
- Provide leadership across product management teams spanning underwriting, customer experience, and data and analytics products.
- Develop product leaders and create clear career paths, expectations, and accountability.
- Evaluate organizational structure and make recommendations regarding team design, ownership, and future growth.
- Build a high-performance culture focused on outcomes, customer value, and execution excellence.
Build the Product Operating System
- Establish scalable operating models for planning, prioritization, roadmap management, execution, stakeholder engagement, and product reviews.
- Create frameworks for business cases, investment decisions, product quality, and success measurement.
- Improve collaboration across Product, Engineering, Analytics, Operations, Commercial, Finance, and other key functions.
- Increase transparency, predictability, and consistency across the product development process.
Shape Product Strategy and Investment Decisions
- Partner with executive leadership to define the future direction of Pareto's platform.
- Develop informed points of view on market opportunities, customer needs, and strategic investments.
- Lead and support business case development for major initiatives and product investments.
- Help drive build-versus-buy decisions and portfolio prioritization.
Improve Customer and Internal Experiences
- Drive improvements across the experiences that matter most to customers, consultants, and internal teams.
- Simplify complex workflows related to implementation, reporting, decision support, renewals, and ongoing account management.
- Ensure product investments create measurable value for customers and the business.
Partner with Analytics and Engineering to Deliver Results
- Partner closely with Analytics and Engineering leadership to improve execution velocity and delivery quality.
- Ensure product management teams are focused on the highest-value opportunities.
- Create alignment between strategic priorities and delivery plans.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10+ years of product management experience with significant leadership and management responsibility.
- Experience leading product managers and product management leaders.
- Track record of building and scaling product management organizations.
- Experience creating operating models, planning processes, and defining and iterating on organizational structure.
- Strong strategic thinking combined with practical execution capability.
- Ability to influence across functions and operate effectively in complex organizations.
- Familiarity with fast-moving, startup environments.
- Experience with enterprise software, operational systems, healthcare, insurance, fintech, or other complex regulated industries is preferred.
