Job Description

The Investment Solutions Group (ISG) at Brookfield is responsible for designing and delivering customized investment strategies across the firm’s global alternatives platform, including real estate, infrastructure, renewable power, private equity, and credit. The team partners closely with institutional and wealth clients to develop tailored portfolio solutions that align with specific objectives such as income generation, inflation protection, and long-term capital appreciation. ISG plays a central role in product development, portfolio construction, and capital formation, structuring bespoke mandates, commingled vehicles, and strategic partnerships. By leveraging Brookfield’s integrated platform, the group connects client needs with investment opportunities, providing differentiated, scalable solutions across global markets.

This position reports to the heads of the ISG Multi-Asset team.

Responsibilities:

• Support the development of customized investment proposals and multi-asset portfolio solutions based on client objectives, risk tolerances, liquidity needs, and portfolio constraints.
• Conduct strategic asset allocation and portfolio construction analysis across private market asset classes, including real estate, infrastructure, renewable power, private equity, and credit.
• Evaluate the benefits and risks of investment opportunities across private market asset classes, including underlying return drivers, cash flow characteristics, liquidity considerations, and portfolio diversification benefits.
• Contribute to investment selection and sizing across funds, direct deals, and co-invest.
• Monitor portfolio allocations, cash flows, performance, and relevant market developments to support ongoing portfolio reviews and client discussions.
• Prepare portfolio analytics and supporting materials for internal portfolio management, investment committee, and client-related discussions as needed.
• Support business development efforts across new and existing client relationships, working closely with senior members of ISG and broader Brookfield client-facing teams to identify client needs and develop relevant investment solutions.
• Participate actively in client and prospect meetings, communicating Brookfield’s investment capabilities, multi-asset perspectives, and portfolio solutions in a clear and compelling manner.
• Educate clients and prospects on asset allocation, portfolio construction, private market portfolio design, cash flow dynamics, liquidity considerations, diversification, and other relevant investment concepts.
• Develop and deliver portfolio and investment updates for existing clients, including discussions of performance, portfolio positioning, deployment, cash flows, market developments, and forward-looking considerations.
• Maintain an informed perspective on macroeconomic, market, and private-market developments and communicate relevant implications to clients and prospects.
• Serve as an investment resource for client-facing teams, helping respond to client questions and supporting investment-related dialogue throughout the relationship lifecycle.
• Partner with client service, marketing, and investment teams to develop presentations, analyses, and other materials for client meetings, prospect discussions, portfolio reviews, and broader business development initiatives.

 Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent. Graduate degree, CFA or CAIA designation a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant investment experience:
• Private market experience is required, with focus on asset allocation or portfolio solutions
• Experience evaluating private market investment opportunities and contributing to investment decisions.
• Strong understanding of the portfolio tradeoffs of varying private market investment and structures.
• Strong skills using Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Bloomberg or FactSet.
• Effective communicator, both oral and written, with ability to present with clarity, precision and conviction.
• Self-starter with strong work ethic and results orientation.
• Organized, thorough and detail oriented.
• Comfortable working in a team-based entrepreneurial environment.
• Ability to collaborate and build relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization.

• Moderate travel required

 Salary Range: $150,000 - $180,000

Our compensation structure is comprised of a base salary and a short-term incentive program (cash bonus). Cash compensation tends to vary based on geography to account for local market conditions and is set to be market competitive. Compensation decisions are based on a number of factors including relative experience, overall years of experience, industry experience, education and designations.
