About the Team:
Always on top of what’s hot in the fashion industry, the members of our Merchandising team ensure we have the right products in the right places at the right time. With their exceptional taste and expert analytical skills, they work closely with cross-functional teams like Digital Commerce and Production to manage inventory and delight our customers with the products they want—and the ones they don’t yet know they want but must have.
About the role:
We’re looking for a strategic, consumer-obsessed VP, Merchandising to lead our end-to-end merchandising organization across Women’s, Men’s, Kids and Accessories. You’ll set the multi-year category and channel vision for the business, build compelling and profitable assortments across retail, e-commerce and wholesale, and grow and coach a team of merchandising leaders who bring that vision to life.
You’ll partner closely with peer leaders across Design, Planning, Product Development and Marketing to deliver a best-in-class product offering and go-to-market strategy that resonates with our customer. This role reports to our Chief Revenue Officer and leads the merchandising team, and will be based in our San Francisco office.
What you’ll do:
Create and execute divisional, category and channel portfolio growth strategies across Women’s, Men’s, Kids and Accessories for a 3-year time horizon
Set the long-range merchandising vision for the business, aligning brand positioning, consumer insight and financial goals across the full product portfolio
Build annual and seasonal assortment strategies for each channel of distribution, retail, e-commerce and wholesale, partnering with peer channel leaders to execute shared growth goals
Own topline and bottom-line performance across the merchandising organization, guiding revenue, margin, inventory health and in-season optimization
Partner with peer leaders in Design, Planning and Product Development to create and innovate processes and ways of working that support team and business growth
Use consumer, market and competitive insight to identify new opportunities and inform category and product decisions
Recruit, develop and coach a world-class team of merchants across varying levels of experience, building a strong bench of future leaders
Represent Merchandising as a key voice in cross-functional and executive-level planning and strategy discussions

You have:
10+ years of merchandising experience in the footwear, accessories or fashion industry, including experience leading teams with multiple direct reports across multiple categories of business
A proven track record of building and executing merchandising strategies that drive growth and profitability at scale
Experience setting assortment strategy across retail, e-commerce and wholesale channels
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insight and strategy
Experience partnering cross-functionally with Design, Planning and Product Development to build and improve ways of working
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience influencing senior and executive leaders
An entrepreneurial spirit that thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Experience using product lifecycle management tools and Google Suite (Sheets and Slides)

Pay range:
$275,000 - $325,000 annually
Base pay is one part of the total rewards package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
