As VP, Global Visual Merchandising, you will define the global creative vision for visual merchandising and brand environments, shaping how Tory Burch is experienced across retail, wholesale, outlet, and partner channels worldwide. You bring a strong aesthetic point of view, deep understanding of luxury retail, and the ability to influence and align teams across a complex global organization. You are equally comfortable developing big ideas, refining creative details, and leading teams through execution, all while maintaining a relentless focus on brand consistency, innovation, and customer engagement.

A Day in the Life:

In this role, you will lead the development of the global visual merchandising strategy, translating brand narratives, product stories, and seasonal campaigns into inspiring retail experiences that strengthen brand equity and drive customer connection. You will establish the creative vision for windows, in-store presentations, mannequin styling, experiential activations, and branded environments, ensuring a consistent and compelling expression of the Tory Burch brand worldwide.

Partnering closely with Brand Marketing, Creative, Design, Retail Design, Store Planning, Merchandising, and regional Visual Merchandising teams, you will create the global standards, toolkits, and creative frameworks that guide execution across markets. While regional teams are responsible for localization and implementation, you will set the overarching vision, creative direction, and quality benchmarks that ensure a cohesive global brand experience.

You will serve as a key member of the Brand leadership team, bringing insights from consumer behavior, cultural shifts, retail innovation, and competitive trends to inform long-term strategy and future concepts. You anticipate where the landscape is heading, not just where it stands today  using that foresight to keep evolving the brand in bold, disruptive ways that cut through the clutter with real intention. From flagship window installations and immersive pop-ups to scalable seasonal programs, you will champion creative innovation that differentiates the brand while balancing operational feasibility and business objectives.

You will also oversee the creative development process from concept through prototype, partnering closely with Store Design, Production, and Sourcing teams to ensure the highest standards of design, craftsmanship, and execution. Through strong leadership, collaboration, and creative vision, you will inspire teams, cultivate talent, and continuously evolve how the Tory Burch brand comes to life around the world.

To Land This Role:

• Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Design, Fine Arts, Fashion, Architecture, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.
• 12-15+ years of experience in visual merchandising, retail design, creative direction, or related disciplines, including significant experience within a global fashion, luxury, or lifestyle brand.
• 5-7+ years of senior leadership experience leading creative, design, or visual merchandising teams.
• Proven success developing and directing large-scale visual merchandising concepts, flagship experiences, window programs, and retail environments.
• Experience creating global creative standards, playbooks, guidelines, and toolkits for regional or international teams.
• Strong conceptual and aesthetic sensibility with the ability to translate brand and product narratives into compelling physical storytelling.
• Deep understanding of retail design, spatial design, materials, fabrication, lighting, and experiential environments.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to balance creative ambition, commercial objectives, and operational realities.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with experience partnering effectively across senior leadership teams.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing creative teams, including talent planning and succession development.
• Strong global perspective and experience adapting creative concepts for diverse markets and consumer audiences.
• Ability to operate both at a high-level strategic visioning stage and within detailed creative reviews.
• Willingness to travel internationally as business needs require.

Compensation Range

The compensation range for this position is 265,000.00 USD - 335,000.00 USD. Our offer will be based on your relevant experience and work location.
