Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme (“MRC”) for Hong Kong

The Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme is a framework to facilitate Authorized Institutions (“AIs”) to bilaterally obtain reference information during their recruitment process for certain positions, such that misconduct information in an individual’s previous employments can be provided to AIs to inform their employment decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Take the lead to drive new product launch and card features / value propositions enhancement to revitalize the overall card’s brand image and usage preference to achieve aggressive business targets.

• Drive new initiatives and participate in card-related process enhancement projects to improve efficiency and client journey.

• Assist to develop and implement short and long term marketing strategies and campaigns to deliver the key performance indicators of the card businesses including card-in-force, card new sales, account receivables, active ratio and total revenue.

• Assist in formulating portfolio management strategies to aggressively grow account receivables, increase card usage and profitability.

• Formulate customer engagement strategies and programs for both new accounts and inactive accounts to encourage continuous card usage and increase active ratio.

• Prepare relevant business proposals and tracking reports for presentation to the senior management.

• Analyze customer/product MIS to understand customer behaviour and trend for continuous improvement of the designated areas of card business. • Control and manage the marketing budget and ensure effectiveness of every marketing campaign.

• Demonstrates initiative to go beyond the normal routine and look for new ways to add value.

• Support frontline and adhere to anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing controls in accordance with regulatory standards and CNCBI policies.

Requirements:

• Preferably a Degree holder or equivalent

• Minimum 5 years of marketing experience in promoting retail banking products, preferable card products

• Sound credit card product knowledge & understanding of basic regulatory requirements.

• Market Knowledge - Understand industry and market development relating to own function. Alert management to emerging opportunities and threats and make practical recommendations to solve problems

• Product Knowledge - Understand the proposition and pricing structure of CNCBI credit card to ensure the competitiveness of our product and services
