In indirect tax at PwC, you will focus value-added tax (VAT), goods and services tax (GST), sales tax and other indirect taxes. Your work will involve providing advice and guidance to clients on indirect tax planning, compliance, and strategy, helping businesses navigate complex indirect tax regulations and optimise their indirect tax positions.

3 years of experience in Sales & Use Tax process2. Strong knowledge on Sales & Use Tax end to end process. Strong knowledge on various filings and payment methods and ability to articulate difference between Sales Tax, Sellers Use Tax, and Consumer Use Tax. Processing high volume of Sales & Use Tax returns3. Good knowledge on Vertex and Anybill tax software functionalities and also utilizing automation tools5. Demonstrating a proficiency of technical skills in a wide range of sales and use tax matters,including compliance, automation, controversy and notice handling6. Leading the engagements calls. Leading the engagements independently, identifying and addressing any client requirements7. Experience with the entire process of new clients onboarding8. Good review skill of prepared returns and online filed returns9. Good research knowledge on technical concepts and come up with the solutions10. Zero to minimal errors on the prepared and reviewed returns11. Providing automation, process efficiency ideas12. Keep up the knowledge on technical and technology developments13. Ability to train associates on SUT technical and technology14. Ability to lead multiple clients during the same period15.
