Build the 26th 

We promise the world 25 new products a year. Unit 26 builds the 26th: SharkNinja itself. 

Inside a company moving as fast as ours, the highest-impact work doesn’t always fit neatly into anyone’s job description. It sits between functions and stays unsolved until someone owns it completely, builds the solution, proves its value, and ships it. That’s where Unit 26 comes in. 

Unit 26 is a small team of builders reporting to the Chief of Staff to the CEO, with executive sponsorship and access to the C-suite from day one. Our job is to solve problems that don’t have an obvious owner or an existing solution. When your build ships, you hand it to the business unit waiting on the other side and move to the next one. Zero to one, again and again. 

We’re starting with just eight builders, from inside SharkNinja and out. 

The Role 

You’ll work directly with teams across SharkNinja to understand what needs to change and what a successful solution must deliver. Then you own the build. What you make will flex with the problem: an app, an algorithm, an AI agent that eliminates thousands of hours of manual work, or a system that doesn’t yet exist at SharkNinja, or anywhere else. Some of your work will change how we run the company. Some will end up inside our products. Some will be things we haven’t imagined yet. 

Here, the building comes first. You’ll build on top of a global innovation engine that reaches tens of millions of homes, and you’ll have a stake in the value you create. 

What You’ll Do 

• Find and frame the unowned, cross-functional problems where a great solution removes constraints for several teams at once. 

• Partner with business leaders to define the problem, the constraints, and what success must look like. 

• Architect and build production-grade software and systems: applications, algorithms, data platforms, integrations, and AI agents. 

• Prove value with hard numbers: hours saved, dollars unlocked, speed gained. 

• Make fast, pragmatic decisions on architecture and build-versus-buy, always favoring the shortest path to proven impact. 

• Ship, then hand off with documentation, training, and support so the business unit can run and scale what you built. 

• Move on to the next challenge, and do it again. 

Who You Are 

Deeply technical software and systems architects with fierce commercial acumen and founder-level urgency. 

• 5+ years designing, building, and shipping complex software and systems in production, with mastery of at least one modern language (e.g., Python, TypeScript, C#). 

• Proven ability to take ambiguous, high-stakes problems from zero to shipped, with full ownership of the outcome. 

• Strong systems thinking: cloud architecture, APIs, data engineering, and enterprise system integration. 

• Hands-on experience building with LLMs, AI agents, or machine learning is a strong plus. 

• Commercial instincts: you can size an opportunity, make the business case, and measure the return. 

• The credibility to earn trust from executives and frontline teams, and to translate business needs into working solutions. 

• Founder-level urgency: bias to action, comfort with ambiguity, and accountability for outcomes, not just outputs. 

• Bachelor’s Degree Required
