As an Unclaimed Property Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring outstanding financial items are reviewed, researched, and disbursed accurately while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.What You'll Do:
- Analyze and research outstanding checks in accordance with established company procedures, regulatory requirements, and applicable state unclaimed property guidelines.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for escrow branches and customers, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional service.
- Evaluate complex issues and escalate matters to management as appropriate, providing research and recommendations to support resolution.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, mitigate risk, enhance operational efficiency, and support issue resolution efforts.
What You'll Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two to three years of experience in unclaimed property, escrow operations, accounting, banking, title, or a related field preferred.
- Working knowledge of department processes, industry practices, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive working relationships across teams and business partners.
- Experience with FAST and TrustLink systems strongly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, exercise sound judgment, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
