As a Football Trader you will have the opportunity to channel your innovative and inquisitive attitude into producing an exciting, bespoke product to Flutter customers across the world on Flutter’s biggest sport.

The role involves shift work so availability during evenings and weekends is a must.

What you’ll do 

Shape Football betting opportunities for Flutter's UKI brands including Skybet, PaddyPower and Betfair - delivering market-leading innovation and setting new standards for quality execution.

• Create and manage football betting markets aligned with Flutter's quality, compliance, and commercial objectives.
• Understand our brand strategies and tailor our proposition based on their needs

• Monitor betting on football markets, adjusting odds based on real-time data and customer behaviour.
• Embrace emerging technologies such as AI to evolve the way we operate.
• Collaborate with the broader Risk & Trading department to collectively deliver against our objectives.
• Analyse performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

• Streamline processes and introduce innovative solutions that contribute to operational excellence and better service delivery. 

• Develop skills by taking on initiatives outside of operational tasks. Success in role will give opportunity to collaborate with an array of stakeholders across the business.

• Take a customer centric approach to ensure a seamless experience. Understand our competitor landscape to swiftly adapt to market changes and evolve our proposition.

How you’ll do it:  

• Operational Excellence: Understand that adherence to best practice is critical to success. Willing to challenge processes where you see opportunities for improvement, backing suggestions with evidence and data. You take pride in precision and attention to detail.

• Football Market Knowledge: Understanding how football works across different markets and competitions and can apply this insight to help create competitive betting propositions for Flutter.

• Sports betting mathematics: Understanding sports betting mathematics is a plus. Ability to learn and grow skills in this area is a must.

• Analytical Skills: Think critically and solve problems creatively using available data. You recognize that an 80:20 approach to problem-solving is sometimes the right call, balancing rigor with pragmatism.

• Prioritisation & Execution: You thrive in fast-paced environments. You're organized, manage concurrent tasks effectively, and make sound decisions quickly under pressure.

• Collaborative Mindset: Communicate effectively across teams, share knowledge with colleagues, actively seek and value input from others to solve problems collectively.
