About Reed Tutors

Reed Tutors provides specialist 1:1 tuition for children and young people who cannot access mainstream education. We work with local authorities, schools and alternative providers to support learners with SEND, SEMH needs, EHCPs and other barriers to education.

Our mission is simple: ensuring every learner receives the support they need to achieve their potential.

The Role

We're looking for a Resourcer to join our growing team, helping us attract, assess and onboard high-quality tutors and teachers across the UK.

You'll play a key role in building a network of education professionals who support some of the most vulnerable learners, ensuring we have the right tutors available to meet demand.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in education, particularly teachers or education professionals looking for a new challenge outside of the classroom.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Attracting, interviewing and onboarding teachers and tutors.
  • Building talent pools to meet current and future demand.
  • Managing compliance, safeguarding and registration processes.
  • Developing strong relationships with education professionals.
  • Supporting the matching of tutors to learners.
  • Ensuring a positive candidate experience from application through to placement.

Who We're Looking For

This role could be a great fit if you:

  • Have experience working in education and understand the challenges faced by schools, teachers and learners.
  • Have experience supporting children and young people, particularly those with additional needs.
  • Are highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Have a strong commitment to safeguarding and maintaining high standards.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
  • Are proactive, resilient and motivated by making a positive impact.

It would be great if you also have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience of SEND, EHCPs or alternative provision.
  • Previous recruitment or talent acquisition experience.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding legislation and education frameworks.

Why Join Reed?

  • Make a genuine difference to the lives of children and young people.
  • An excellent opportunity for teachers looking to transition out of the classroom without leaving education behind.
  • Access industry-leading training, professional development and career progression opportunities.
  • Personal development funding and discounts through Reed Courses.
  • Access to the Reed Reward Hub, including wellbeing resources, gym memberships, shopping discounts and cashback offers.
  • Health Cash Plan providing cashback on everyday healthcare expenses and more.

Safeguarding

Reed Tutors is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All offers of employment are subject to satisfactory safeguarding and compliance checks.

Interested?

If you're an education professional looking for a fresh challenge where you can continue making an impact outside of the classroom, we'd love to hear from you.

Join Reed Tutors and help connect exceptional educators with the learners who need them most.
