About Dreamerlabs
Dreamerlabs is building a new category of entertainment: interactive experiences powered by AI characters, chat, voice, image and video, shaped in real time around each person.
Entertainment has spent decades becoming more personalised, from TV to YouTube to TikTok. AI unlocks a second axis, interactivity, where the story responds to you. That is what we’re building, and we’re doing it at serious scale.
In under two years, we have built one of the most-visited AI entertainment products in the world:
20 million monthly visitors
A top 1,000 website globally
250 billion tokens processed every day
1.2 million images and videos generated every day
350+ model requests per second, served from our own GPU fleet
We’ve done it profitable and bootstrapped, and now we are scaling our team.
The role
Our main product is an AI-generated adult content platform. Every day, users create more than 1.2 million images and videos on it, and keeping it safe is one of the most important jobs in the company.
Right now, our Head of Trust & Safety handles much of the day-to-day moderation work directly. You’ll take it over and own it: the queues, the investigations, the judgement calls, and the people and processes that keep our standards high. You’ll work in the room with the founders and the engineers building our moderation systems, and your decisions will directly shape what’s allowed on one of the most-visited AI platforms in the world.
You will own:
Daily moderation operations. Work through user reports, flagged accounts, ban appeals and moderation inboxes across image, video, character and chat. Keep response times tight, decisions consistent, and clear records of every investigation and escalation.
Investigations and escalations. Dig into reported content, trace it back to the characters and users behind it, decide on restrictions or bans, and escalate serious violations through the right channels.
Judgement calls on edge cases. Users publish their own characters and scenarios. You’ll apply our policies to the ambiguous cases, make the call and document your reasoning. Our standards are stricter than the law requires.
Our moderation and labelling teams. Be the first point of contact for our contracted content moderators, resolving what they escalate, and own quality assurance for the data labellers whose work trains our safety models.
Making the system better. Spot trends in false positives, repeat violations and moderation errors, and feed them back to improve our automated moderation. Find the manual workflows that slow us down, then fix or automate them.
What we’re looking for
You’ve seen the hard side of content moderation, handled it professionally, and want to own it somewhere your work has a direct impact.
Hands-on moderation experience. 2+ years in trust and safety, content moderation or platform integrity, reviewing harmful, explicit or prohibited content in a professional setting. You’ve worked live queues, investigated reports and flagged accounts, and made enforcement decisions on restrictions, bans and appeals yourself.
Comfort with the content. You can work with explicit and sometimes distressing material day in, day out, and stay clear-headed and pragmatic while doing it.
High-risk escalation. You know how to identify and escalate serious violations and you understand evidence handling, reporting obligations and escalation protocols.
Sound judgement. When a policy doesn’t clearly cover a situation, you make a call, document it, and know when to push for the policy to change.
Discretion and integrity. You’ll have access to highly sensitive information. You treat it with care, communicate maturely and represent the team well.
Leading moderation teams. You’ve coordinated, quality-checked and given feedback to a team of moderators and can hold standards across high-volume work.
Operational ownership. You’ve managed moderation workloads against quality and response-time targets on your own, prioritising cases, handling ambiguity and improving workflows as you go.
Basic SQL and some coding experience are a big plus for speeding up investigations and building your own tools, even if most of your building is done with AI coding tools. They aren’t required.
How we work
We work together in person in North Sydney, because things change fast and the best decisions happen in the room. We prioritise ruthlessly, test ideas in a day rather than planning them for weeks, and keep meetings and approvals to a minimum.
We think of ourselves as a competitive sports team with a real shot at winning. That means a high-intensity environment, and it’s built for people who want exactly that.
What you’ll get
Above-market pay. We reward exceptional people with above-market salaries and meaningful equity.
Fast reward for impact. Compensation is reviewed every six months, with raises and bonuses tied to what you deliver, not your title.
Growth without management. Your scope, influence and pay can keep growing while you stay hands-on.
All meals covered. Breakfast, lunch and dinner every day, plus stocked fridges.
A company card and unlimited workspace budget. For food, coffee, software, AI tools, equipment and the setup you need to do your best work.
A great office. Dog-friendly, in North Sydney, with a big balcony for working outdoors.
Optional team socials. Gym sessions, running, swimming, escape rooms and more.
Visa sponsorship and relocation support. If required.
