CDL Truck Driver

Position Responsibilities
- Fleet Operation: Safely and efficiently operate a variety of equipment including Double Bellies, Double Sides, and Strongarms.
- Support Services: Operate specialized support vehicles such as Water Trucks, Street Sweepers, Telebelts, and Broom Trucks.
- Load Management: Manage and transport materials to and from active construction sites with precision and care.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean MVR and perform pre/post-trip inspections to ensure equipment is safe and reliable.
- On-Site Coordination: Work effectively with project managers and crew members to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: At least 2 years of commercial driving experience (Construction experience is a plus).
- Licensing: Valid CDL with Tanker Endorsement and other proper endorsements required.
- Driving Record: Clean MVR required at the time of offer.
- Compliance: Must pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing (Drug-Free Workplace).
Workers should be able to:
- Read and interpret road maps
- Practice good safety habits
- Work in dusty or dirty surroundings
- Follow instructions and meet set standards for hauling and scheduling
- Judge distances and weights accurately
- Make decisions based on verifiable standards.
Physically, workers must be able to:
- Stoop, bend, and crouch
- Use hands, arms, and legs fully
- See well (either naturally or with correction)
- Lift up to 50 pounds, with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Physical Fitness: Must be able to pass a company physical and meet all DOT requirements.
