About the team
The FIS Treasury Enhanced Application Managed Services (EAMS) team supports clients using treasury and payments solutions. The team combines proactive operational monitoring, first-line functional and technical investigation, incident and request management, and coordinated escalation to help clients maintain reliable daily treasury operations.
Role purpose
The Treasury EAMS Analyst delivers accurate, timely, and client-focused operational support. The role monitors agreed treasury processes and application services, investigates standard incidents and requests, maintains clear documentation, and works with internal resolver teams to restore service and keep clients informed.
What you will be doing
· Perform agreed application, interface, scheduler, payment, statement, reconciliation, and process validation checks within documented timelines.
· Monitor alerts and operational queues, identify exceptions, complete first-line analysis, and take approved corrective action.
· Log, classify, prioritize, update, and progress incidents and service requests in accordance with service levels, procedures, and escalation paths.
· Reproduce and document client issues, capture evidence, review available logs or data, and provide clear problem statements to resolver teams.
· Provide timely, accurate client communication on status, actions, dependencies, risks, and next steps.
· Support daily treasury activities including payments, settlements, bank statements, cash management, bank reconciliation, and related operational workflows.
· Execute approved user administration and static-data or small application changes where these activities are within the contracted service scope.
· Maintain shift handovers, checklists, runbooks, standard operating procedures, knowledge articles, and support records.
· Participate in testing, release, upgrade, change, and service improvement activities under guidance.
· Collaborate with Product Support, Technical Support, hosting, database, network, product, and professional services teams as required.
What you bring
Required experience and domain knowledge
· 2-4 years of relevant experience in treasury, banking, payments, financial services operations, or application support.
· Working knowledge of treasury operations such as cash and liquidity management, payments, settlements, accounting, bank reconciliation, and bank statements.
· Understanding of payment and statement lifecycles and the operational impact of failed or delayed processing.
· Familiarity with SWIFT MT messages and ISO 20022 XML messages. Examples may include MT101, MT202, MT210, MT300, MT5xx, MT9xx, pain, and camt messages.
· Experience working with incidents, service requests, priorities, service levels, and structured escalation in a support environment.
· Willingness to work flexible rotational shifts aligned to the approved global support model.
Technical and operational skills
· Hands-on use of a ticketing platform such as ServiceNow or Jira.
· Ability to interpret application alerts, job statuses, interface or file-processing outcomes, and basic logs.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio.
· Basic understanding of application architecture, databases, servers, file transfer, and cloud or hosted environments.
· Working knowledge of SFTP concepts, including secure file transfer workflows, connectivity checks, file naming and directory conventions, authentication methods such as passwords and SSH keys, and basic investigation of failed or delayed transfers.
· Strong written documentation skills for ticket updates, handovers, procedures, and knowledge content.
· Manage and support SWIFT FileAct and SWIFT FIN services for payment processing, statement delivery, and financial messaging.
· Support ERP integrations for payment processing and bank statement reconciliation across treasury platforms.
· Monitor and maintain Host-to-Host (H2H) banking connectivity to ensure seamless communication between enterprise systems and banking partners.
· Provide application support for Treasury Management Systems (TMS), ensuring operational stability and timely issue resolution.
· Create and maintain static data within the Treasury Management System, including bank accounts, counterparties, and related configurations.
· Perform CEV (Connectivity and End-to-End Validation) activities to validate treasury and banking integrations.
· Handle ServiceNow incidents, service requests, and change requests, ensuring timely resolution in accordance with SLA commitments.
· Support integration and processing of MT940 and MT942 bank statement messages received from SWIFT and banking partners.
· Analyze, validate, and support payment message formats including ISO 20022 PAIN.001/PAIN.002 and SWIFT MT101/MT199 messages.
· Collaborate with internal stakeholders, banks, and technical teams to troubleshoot integration issues and ensure uninterrupted treasury operations.
· Participate in monitoring, incident management, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives related to treasury applications and banking connectivity.

Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
· Fluent business English.
· ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.
Preferred experience
· Experience with FIS Trax, Quantum, Integrity, eBAM, Bank Connector, Payment Hub, or another Treasury Management System.
· Exposure to SQL, and monitoring tools, secure file transfer, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
· Experience supporting global clients in an SLA-driven managed services environment.
