The Travel Retail channel plays a role in expanding The North Face brand visibility and connecting with consumers on the move across EMEA. As Travel Retail Manager, you will help shape the future of this growing business by building strong partnerships, identifying new opportunities and driving brand presence in key travel destinations. This role offers a unique blend of commercial leadership, business development and cross-functional collaboration within a dynamic international environment.
What You Will Do
Manage The North Face Travel Retail business across EMEA, driving revenue, profitability, distribution growth and brand visibility across travel retail environments.
Develop and manage strong partnerships with travel retail operators, distributors, airport stakeholders and strategic partners to identify and unlock new business opportunities.
Manage the Travel Retail business plan, delivering revenue, margin, inventory and profitability targets in line with company objectives.
Develop and execute seasonal commercial plans, ensuring the right product assortment is available to meet the needs of the travel retail consumer and maximize sales performance.
Build and manage seasonal forecasts in partnership with Planning teams to optimize inventory levels and support sustainable business growth.
Execute sell-in, identifying opportunities and implementing action plans to achieve targets.
Partner closely with Merchandising, Planning, Marketing and Retail teams to ensure product availability, impactful brand storytelling and successful product launches.
Support the development and execution of channel growth initiatives, contributing to the expansion of The North Face presence within the Travel Retail channel.
Manage and support new store, shop-in-shop and branded corner openings, ensuring seamless execution from planning through launch.
Conduct regular business reviews with partners, leveraging consumer, market and performance insights to optimize assortments.
Identify market trends, traveler behaviors and competitive opportunities to support business growth and channel development.
Ensure consistent execution of brand standards, visual merchandising guidelines and consumer experience across all Travel Retail locations.
Act as the key point of contact for Travel Retail partners, building long-term relationships that support mutual business growth.
What You'll Bring
5+ years of proven experience in Travel Retail, within the apparel, footwear, outdoor, sporting goods or premium consumer goods industries, is a must.
Strong commercial and financial acumen, with a demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and deliver business results.
Experience managing strategic accounts and building successful partnerships with travel retail operators, distributors and other external stakeholders.
Solid understanding of retail performance metrics, assortment planning, consumer trends and inventory management.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable business plans.
Excellent negotiation, presentation and relationship-management skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for identifying and developing new growth opportunities.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working within an international and cross-functional environment.
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English. Additional languages are considered a plus.
