Job Description:

PROGRAM ANALYST

We are hiring an experienced deployment readiness travel coordinator who will perform a variety of complex administrative and analytical tasks in support of GSE&SC travel, CONUS and OCONUS.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing plans, including budgets, travel schedules and visa requirements for overseas deployment of security technology technicians.

• Monitoring tasks and reporting performance against plans to ensure contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are met

• Interacting regularly with Department of State personnel and other industry representatives to ensure conformance to customer requirements.

The deployment readiness travel coordinator will work on a team that supports a variety of deployment activities. These activities specifically include:

• Training, deployment, and communication services to all domestic and overseas branch operations

• Tracking and maintaining records for travelers’ deployment readiness to include: Training, Passports, Medical Clearances and other requirements deemed necessary for travel

• Developing, maintaining, and managing worldwide travel.

• Determining travel requirements, requisitions, and reporting materials used in travel for individuals and teams.

• Managing multiple branch projects simultaneously involving successfully organizing, planning, and executing large-scale branch projects from vision through implementation. 

• Establishing project travel plans including audience, approach, design, and list of deliverables.

• Using independent decision-making to design and develop travel materials, reference materials, presentation materials and job aids.  Ensure all materials are clear, concise, instructionally sound, and directly support learning objectives; ensure materials are FAR compliant.

• Preparing reports and monitoring travel tasks in support of the goals of the Contractor Program Manager and the government sponsor(s) using standard travel standards and software and hardware programs.

• Providing input to the Project Lead and the Contractor Program Manager on decisions for travel validation and/or modifications of specified items or systems.

• Working in, and supporting, a collaborative team environment.

• Managing multiple projects support of fast-paced government customer needs.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives with limited oversight.

The candidate may:

• Participate in business development activities.

• Provide guidance and work leadership to less experienced employees.

• And participate in special projects as required.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

● Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
● Experience: 2+ years of related experience
● Technical skills: Microsoft Office, Concur, SharePoint management, eCC
● Security clearance level: Interim Secret Clearance or higher to start
● US citizenship required
● Location: Sterling, VA

The likely salary range for this position is $85,000 - $115,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
