We're looking for an experienced Tool Store Storeperson to join our team in Toowoomba, QLD, supporting our operations through the efficient management, storage, and distribution of tools, equipment, and materials. This is a Permanent Full-Time, Monday to Friday role working 38 hours per week.

What you'll be doing:
As a Tool Store Storeperson at Hastings Deering, you will:
Manage inventory and stock movements – Pick, pack, store, and dispatch tools, parts, and materials while maintaining inventory accuracy and achieving performance targets.
Support warehouse operations – Participate in stocktakes, housekeeping, maintenance activities, consumable ordering, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Deliver exceptional customer service – Provide timely and accurate support to internal and external customers, ensuring service expectations are consistently met.
Maintain safety compliance – Contribute to a safe working environment by following all workplace health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
Ensure operational efficiency – Assist in maintaining effective warehouse processes to support workshop and operational requirements.
Protect Hastings Deering's reputation – Ensure tools and materials are delivered safely, accurately, and on time.
What you'll need:
A successful teammate will have experience in:
Warehouse experience – Previous experience working within a high-volume warehouse, tool store, or logistics environment is highly desirable.
Customer focus – Strong customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships across the business.
Computer proficiency – Intermediate computer skills and the ability to work within inventory management systems.
Forklift licence – A current Forklift Licence is advantageous.
Product knowledge – Experience with Caterpillar products, parts, and services will be highly regarded.
Strong organisational skills – Ability to manage competing priorities, work autonomously, and maintain high levels of accuracy.
Team-oriented mindset – Proven ability to work collaboratively while also being self-motivated and accountable.
Safety focus – Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a Zero Harm workplace culture.
