In this role, you'll operate a variety of heavy vehicles, including truck & dog and B-double combinations, delivering quarry materials safely and efficiently to customers across the region. About the Role
Reporting to the Quarry Manager, you will:
- Safely operate tipper trucks, truck & dog and B-double combinations
- Deliver quarry products to customer sites across Victoria and surrounding regions
- Conduct daily pre-start inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Load, transport and unload quarry materials safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and records
- Provide exceptional customer service to customers and site personnel
- Adhere to Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management and road transport regulations
- Maintain Heidelberg Materials' high standards of safety, compliance and professionalism
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A current Multi Combination (MC) Licence
- Previous tipper, truck & dog and/or B-double driving experience
- A strong commitment to safety and compliance
- Knowledge of fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility requirements
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A positive attitude and reliable work ethic
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
