Summary:
As a Test Automation Engineer, a typical day involves applying structured quality processes and leveraging automation tools to enhance testing products and solutions. The role requires overseeing the entire quality engineering lifecycle with a strong emphasis on automation, ensuring that testing activities are executed with precision and reliability. This position focuses on improving the control, accuracy, and integrity of testing outcomes by integrating innovative methodologies and maintaining a seamless workflow across various testing stages. Collaboration and continuous improvement are key aspects of the daily routine to deliver high-quality software products.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify process improvements and implement best practices within the team.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align testing strategies with project goals.
- Ensure timely delivery of automation test scripts and maintain test documentation.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Selenium.
- Experience in designing and developing automated test scripts using Selenium frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and continuous integration tools.
- Ability to analyze test results and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Familiarity with scripting languages and software development lifecycle concepts.
- Understanding of quality assurance methodologies and defect tracking systems.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Selenium.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
