The School of Computer Science at McGill University (Montreal, Canada) invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor. We are seeking candidates with a PhD (or close to finishing) in Computer Science and expertise at the intersection of quantum computing and computer science. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to foundational and applied quantum algorithms, quantum cryptography, quantum information theory, quantum programming languages, quantum compilation, and classical-quantum computer architectures.

Position Description:
The School of Computer Science at McGill University (Montreal, Canada) invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor.

The expected start date is August 1, 2027.

Job Duties:
The successful candidate will be expected to conduct research and secure competitive external funding, teach a diverse body of undergraduate and graduate students, and provide service to the University, the profession, and society at large.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
PhD (or close to finishing) in Computer Science and expertise at the intersection of quantum computing and computer science.
