About the job

We are looking for a highly skilled Collaboration Engineer to join our Technology Group and play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing the Bank's collaboration and unified communications infrastructure.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering secure, reliable, and innovative collaboration solutions that enable seamless communication and teamwork across the organization. Working closely with IT teams, business stakeholders, and technology partners, you will contribute to the evolution of our digital workplace by ensuring high availability, optimal performance, and continuous improvement of collaboration services.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise collaboration and unified communication platforms, including VoIP, video conferencing, messaging, and collaboration solutions.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize collaboration services to ensure high availability and excellent user experience.
  • Configure and administer communication platforms and technologies, including Cisco Webex, Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Voice Gateways, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and related solutions.
  • Ensure the security, compliance, governance, and resilience of collaboration and communication platforms.
  • Integrate collaboration technologies with enterprise applications and cloud environments.
  • Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, health assessments, and continuous optimization of collaboration services.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and configuration standards.
  • Automate operational tasks and improve efficiency using Python or other scripting languages.
  • Support enterprise mobility and hybrid working initiatives through secure collaboration technologies.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and business continuity initiatives for communication systems.
  • Provide technical support, user guidance, and knowledge sharing where required.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and service providers to deliver projects, upgrades, and continuous service improvements.
  • Prepare technical specifications, evaluate vendor proposals, and contribute to technology selection processes.
  • Stay up to date with emerging collaboration technologies and recommend innovative solutions that enhance productivity and user experience.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (BSc, MSc).
  • At least 3 years proven experience in a Collaboration Engineering, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of collaboration and unified communications protocols, including SIP, RTP, and WebRTC.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco collaboration technologies, including Cisco Webex, Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Jabber, and Cisco Voice Gateways.
  • Experience administering cloud collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or Google Meet.
  • Solid understanding of collaboration platform security, governance, identity management, and compliance best practices.
  • Experience integrating collaboration platforms with enterprise applications and cloud ecosystems.
  • Experience with scripting and automation using Python or similar programming languages.
  • Experience working with technology vendors, managed service providers, and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Cisco certifications such as CCNA Collaboration, CCNP Collaboration, or equivalent, are highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices or other IT Service Management frameworks, is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Εxcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a dynamic environment.
