Faith Technologies Inc. (FTI) is currently seeking a Technical Writer III to join our team. The individual will work closely with a more senior writer or leader to process incoming work and assign tasks accordingly. The writer will complete work without guidance and proofread work for less experienced writers. Will work closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts to observe tasks or processes and study materials and existing documentation to determine procedure and detail. Will write technical documents/manuals in accordance with customer or internal specifications within established deadlines. Must communicate work status and additional updates across teams, ensuring transparency. Follows established safety procedures and reports violations. Performs other job-related tasks as requested with reasonable accommodation.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in technical writing or technical communication preferred
Experience: Minimum of 6 years technical writing experience. Prefer experience in engineering, electrical, or manufacturing. CCMS or authoring tools experience, Microsoft suite, Smartsheet.

Experience: 10+ years of industry experience.
WORK LOCATION
This role follows a hybrid work model, offering a blend of onsite collaboration at and remote flexibility. Team members are required to spend 1-2 days every other week onsite at our Menasha, WI office to support teamwork, learning, and in‑person connection, while enjoying the autonomy and focus that remote work provides. Specific onsite expectations may vary based on team needs, project priorities, and individual development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Writes technical materials, such as technical specifications, software documentation, operating and maintenance instructions, equipment manuals, and Work Instruction sets.
- Independently makes decisions affecting internal or external customers and their documentation projects.
- Becomes point of contact for internal stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Familiar with all areas of internal documentation.
- Defines scope, layout, and document design.
- Assembles and organizes material, and completes writing assignments according to order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology standards.
- Maintains records and files of work and revisions.
- Edits, standardizes, or makes changes to materials prepared or reviewed by others.
- Selects drawings, diagrams, charts, photographs, or sketches to illustrate materials.
- Participates in and suggests continuing education opportunities.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
